Nueve Studio — Brand Website
A premium brand website for a Greek design studio. Dark botanical aesthetic, smooth scroll animations, and performance-optimized across all devices.
The Context
Nueve is a design studio based in Greece, specializing in high-end visual identity and interior design. Their previous online presence didn't reflect the quality of their work — a generic site that gave visitors no reason to go further.
They needed a website that communicates before the visitor reads a single word.
The Challenge
The studio had a strong visual identity — deep botanical colors, refined typography, studio photography — but no website capable of translating it digitally. The constraints were clear:
- Make the brand immersive from the first scroll
- Load fast despite high-quality visuals
- Work flawlessly on mobile (60% of creative studio traffic)
- Be maintainable by the team without a developer
Our Approach
We started with an art direction workshop to align the digital vision with the studio's physical identity. From there, three principles guided every decision:
Typographic restraint. A palette of two typefaces — an elegant serif for headings, an airy grotesque for body — creates breathing contrast. Zero unnecessary decoration.
Motion in service of content. Framer Motion animations aren't there to impress, but to guide attention: projects open smoothly, page transitions feel natural, nothing distracts from the work.
Performance first. Every image was optimized and converted to WebP. Static rendering via Next.js ensures content is ready before the browser even asks.
The Result
Site delivered in three weeks. Lighthouse score: 97. LCP under one second on mobile. Contact requests increased significantly in the month following launch.
Nueve now has a website worthy of their work.
