The Context

Paput Menorca is a hotel located on the island of Menorca, Spain. Facing strong competition from OTAs (Booking, Airbnb), the property wanted to take back control of its online distribution and drive direct bookings — more profitable, commission-free.

The goal: a site that makes visitors want to book before they even compare prices.

The Challenge

The hospitality sector often suffers from over-reliance on third-party platforms that eat into margins. For Paput, the stakes were clear:

  • Translate the Mediterranean atmosphere of the property into a digital experience
  • Convince visitors to book directly rather than through an OTA
  • Load fast on mobile under variable network conditions (4G on the go)
  • Rank on Google for local and tourist search queries

Our Approach

We built the design around the property's strengths: the light, the spaces, the proximity to the sea. Every visual and layout decision flowed from those elements.

Immersive gallery. Property photos are staged in a full-screen carousel that captures attention on arrival. Visitors feel the atmosphere before reading a single line.

Short conversion funnel. The direct booking CTA is visible at every stage of the journey. An availability form is embedded on the homepage to reduce friction.

Local SEO. Semantic structure, metadata, and schema.org markup were optimized to appear in local search results and Maps packs.

The Result

A site launched in 2025 that positions Paput Menorca as a destination in its own right, not just another listing. Direct bookings gained visibility and the property now owns a digital asset that works for them year-round.
